Check out this 1925 American LaFrance fire engine – a true legend of its time. 💯 At a century old, this chain-driven beauty could pump 750 gallons per minute, carried its own chemical tank, and featured a large hose bed to battle the toughest blazes.
Engines like this paved the way for the modern rigs we see today. A rolling reminder of craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to protecting communities.

The Loveland Rural Fire Protection District was made aware of an error in the property tax statements impacting recently included properties and are working diligently with the county assessor to correct the taxes and re-issue tax statements. The assessor is mailing a letter to each property affected by this mistake with the process for correcting your 2025 tax statement and a process for a refund if you have already paid your taxes. Please call the assessor with questions about the corrected tax statement.
This holiday season, LFRA is proud to take part in the Keep the Wreath Red fire safety campaign. You’ll see red-lit wreaths hanging at all of our stations as a reminder to decorate safely. If a fire caused by holiday decorations occurs, a red bulb is replaced with a white one — a visual reminder of the importance of fire prevention.
