Citizens are invited to apply for a Commissioner position on the Fire Rescue Advisory Commission.

LOVELAND, October 15, 2021 – Loveland area residents are invited to apply to serve as official advisors to the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA), a combined governmental entity of the City of Loveland and Loveland Rural Fire Protection District. 

The Fire Rescue Advisory Commission (“FRAC”) provides citizen input to LFRA on a wide range of issues that affect Public Safety; Fires, EMS, Technical Rescue, Public Education, Community Safety, Emergency Management, etc. 

The Commissioners may assist the organization by updating the Strategic Plan, or evaluate Community Risk that affect the quality of life and economic impact on Loveland’s citizens and businesses. 

FRAC currently has vacancies to serve on the Commission; two City of Loveland residents and three Loveland Rural Fire Protection District residents are needed.  

Volunteers generally spend a few hours per month preparing for and attending meetings usually held at the Fire Administration Building, 410 E. 5th St.

Applications are due by 5 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021.
