The Loveland Rural Fire Protection District will hold an election on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. At that time two directors will be elected to serve a three-year term each.

Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms are available on the LFRA Website (www.LFRA.org) or from Micki L. Mills, the Designated Election Official for the District, at email: mmills@cegrlaw.com. Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms must be filed with the Designated Election Official for the District at the above email address not less than 67 days prior to the election (Friday, February 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.).

Applications for absentee ballots may be filed with the Designated Election Official of the District at the above address during normal business hours, until the close of business on the Tuesday immediately preceding the election (Tuesday, April 25, 2023). All absentee ballots must be returned to the Designated Election Official by 7:00 p.m. on election day.

The Loveland Rural Fire Protection District (LRFPD) is governed by an elected Board of Directors and provides financial support to the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority for the provision of all fire and emergency services, plan reviews, building permits, fire protection system permits, and ISO information to the citizens of the District. The LRFPD maintains an office for Management/Administration and Finance/Accounting services at 550 W. Eisenhower Boulevard, Loveland, Colorado.  The Board of Directors holds regular meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m. Regular meetings are typically held at Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Fire Adninstration Building at 410 East 5th Street, Loveland, Colorado.  Please refer to the LFRA website for meeting information.
