The Loveland Rural Fire Protection District will hold an election on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. At that time two directors will be elected to serve a three-year term each. There are currently three candidates running for office: Bob Boggio, Paul Bukowski and Tom Chesney.
The Board of Directors determined to conduct its May 5, 2020 election via Polling Place. There will be one polling location located at 550 W. Eisenhower Boulevard, Loveland, Colorado 80537. Due to the current stay-at-home orders in place we strongly encourage voters to submit an absentee ballot via mail rather than going to the polling place on the day of the election. In order to receive an absentee ballot, eligible electors must complete an Application for Absentee Ballot. The Application for Absentee Ballot can be found on the LFRA website (www.lfra.org) or by contacting the Designated Election Official, Kammy Tinney, whose contact information is located below. All applications must be received by the Designated Election Official at the address noted above for processing no later than Tuesday April 28, 2020 if the absentee ballot is to be mailed to the elector or, until the close of business on Friday May 1, 2020 if the absentee ballot will not be mailed to the elector (instead picked up from the office of the Designated Election Official).
