Honor Guard

Overview

The Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Honor Guard was officially formed in 1996 and comprised ten members of both career and volunteer firefighters. The first event the Honor Guard performed in was the 1996 installation of officers for the Loveland Volunteer Fire Department. Since then, the Honor Guard has performed in a variety of events ranging from posting colors for local sporting events, graduations, station dedications; badge pinning, department banquets, and retirement ceremonies. The Honor Guard also performs honors during memorial services and funerals for any prior fire service member and is made up of current and past firefighters.

The LFRA Honor Guard has also performed with other agency Honor Guards such as Loveland Police Department.
